Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO) announced the 2020 list of 100 Largest Industrial Enterprises according to "from Production to Sales", announced for the 39th time this year, at an online press conference. Torbalı, which entered the top 10 list with its two establishments, left its mark.
 
Ender Yorgancılar, Chairman of the Board of EBSO, evaluated the economic developments during the pandemic and explained what needs to be done for the development of production and industry. Star Rafineri A.Ş took the place of TÜPRAŞ, which has been at the top for 2 years, in the ranking of the 100 largest industrial enterprises in 2020 according to "from Production to Sales". TÜPRAŞ and PETKİM followed Star Rafineri A.Ş with a sagging production and sales. In the top 10, after PETKİM; İzmir Demir Çelik, Philsa Philip Morris, JTI Tobacco, Abalıoğlu Yağ Sanayi, Pınar Süt Mamulleri, BMC Automotive and Kocaer Haddecilik took part. Tobacco factories in Torbalı, Philsa Philip Morris and JTI Tütün, took the 3rd and 4th places of the list. Torbalı-based firms such as SUN Tekstil, Heper Metal, TTL, EKOTEN, Tukaş formed a large part of the first face.
